This holy Mount Kailash, Manasarovar, Garuda Valley, Guge Kindgom and Lhasa Tour package is a spiritual, herigate, cultural as well as adventure tour in Tibet. This package tour can be started either from Lhasa or from Kathmnadu, Nepal. We have designed this package starting from Kathmandu and ending in Lhasa. Starting from kathmandu we enter Tibet via nepal - china border (kodari border) the passing through a village called Nyalam, saga, parang, dongba and we reach to Holy Lake Manasarovar. Manasarovar is situated in the south-west corner of Tibet. Manasarovar lake is considered as the most beautiful and sacred lake in Asia. Nevertheless pilgrims came from the far corners of the continent, defying hardships to walk the 52 kilometers circuit around Holy Mount Kailash and to bath in or circumbulate the sacred lakes of Manasarovar. From Manasarovar our next destination is Holy Mount Kailash (most sacred mountain) for Hindus. Two and half days trekking around kailash (52 kilometers) we will next head towards Garuda Valley. The Garuda Valley contains mysterious caves some of which have never been explored. The valley is the source of an ancient kingdom of Shangshung, the ruined cave cities in the valley are remains of early Tibetan civilization. Following the Garuda Valley our next destination is visit a ruins of Guge Kingdom. Tsaparang, is the former capital of Guge Kingdom. Exploring the ruins of Tholing and Tsaparang monastery we drive back to Manasarovar. Further driving back to Saga we head toways a capital city of Tibet (Lhasa) passing through Xigatse and Gyantse.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival pickup from international airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 02: Chinese Visa preparation day. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Nyalam (3750m), Overnight at Guest House.
Journey begins at 5:30 am after having breakfast in hotel. Packed Lunch provided on the way. The road follows the river valleys of the Sunkosi and Bhotakosi rivers, passing through green mountains and cliffs. By the afternoon we get to the Tibetan boarder. Depending on the road conditions, we may stay in Zhangmu. If road conditions permit, we will continue 30km to Nyalam.
Day 04: Rest Day for acclimatization, Overnight at Guest House.
A leisure day gives us a chance to relax and acclimatize at the high altitude.
Day 05: Drive to Saga (4200m), Overnight at Guest House.
The road climbs up to the, La Lung (5124m) then drops down before heading western part of Tibet. Road to east goes to Lhasa, capital city of Tibet. The driving is difficult, but the stunning views of the Himalayas and particularly Shisha Pangma (8012m) more than make up for the rough travel. By late afternoon we will cross the Bhramaputra River and will be reached to Saga for shelter.
Day 06: Drive Saga - Paryang (4500m) - Lake Manasarovar (4560m), Overnight at Guest House.
Our jeep passes through the gigantic valleys following the various rivers through the eye-catching view of grazing lands of yaks and sheep and Himalayan goat (Chyangra). The landscape is highlighted by snow capped peaks rising out of the distant and dunes. By late afternoon the drive through the green pastures and huge valleys gives way to the first view of Mt Kailash and Lake Manasarovar. We will drive to Thogu holiest bathing gate of Manas. It is believed that The holiest Lake mansarovar is the source of four great holy rivers Ganges, Brahmaputra, Sutlej and Indus River. It is said that Lord Vishnu floated in it for an eternity, dreaming, until the life force stirred, and out of the water's infinite potential sprang forth all of creation.
Day 07: Drive to Darchen (4600m), Overnight at Guest House.
This day offers a wonderful opportunity to see the great lake Manasarover with mt. Gurula Mandhata (7728m) on south and Holy Kailash on the north. After holy bath drive to Darchen( The base camp of Mt.Kailash ) via Chiu monastery and hot spring.
Day 08: Trek to Dirapuk (4900m), Overnight at Fixed Tented Camp.
Parikrama around Kailash begins at Tarboche. Our way of trekking passes numerous chortens as well as the sky burial site of the 84 Mahasiddas. We will also have wonderful views of cascading creeks, streaming water falls and the mighty west face of Kailash. We will pass the Chukku Gompa and in about 6 hrs. We will reach to Dirapuk Gompa for overnight stay.
Day 09: Trek to Zutulpuk Gompa (4790m), Overnight at Fixed Camp.
Today is the hardest but holiest day of the pilgrimage. We will cross through a rocky expanse dotted with stone cairns draped with the clothes offered by pilgrims as a spiritual sign of death. Gaurikunda is one of the holiest sites to view/ visit from the top. Further hiking brings us to the accent up to Dolma -La pass (5630m). After a nice break at the top of the pass we will head down the steep trail to our eventual campsite at Zutul-Puk Monastery (the cave of miracles where Milarepa meditated).
Day 10: Third day of kora: hiking to Darchen (4,600 m, 14km, 3-4 hours) and drive to Tritapuri (60km, 1-2 hours). Overnight at Guest House.
Today we are finishing our pilgimage to Kailash. After easy walking we reach Darchen and depart to Tritapuri one of "Places of Power" of Tibet and an important site for the Buddhists. Get blessed by the mystical sights which uphold the tantric traditions of Buddhism. Visit the white and red hot springs and the retreat caves including the Padmasambhave or Guru Rimpoche’s Cave. Taking a bath in the hot springs is supposed to cure sickness and wash away negative karma.
Day 11: Sightseeing of the Garuda Valley and drive back to Tirthapuri. Overnight at Guest House.
The Garuda Valley or Kyunglung lies to the southwest of Mt Kailash. The Garuda Valley contains mysterious caves some of which have never been explored. The valley is the source of an ancient kingdom of Shangshung, the ruined cave cities in the valley are remains of early Tibetan civilization. For those interested in the archeological and historical sites, Garuda Valley offers a magnificent exploration. Return back to Tritapuri in the evening. Overnight in Tritapuri.
Day 12: Tirthapuri-Tholing (Zanda). Overnight at budget Guest House.
Altitude: 11,972 ft, distance 170 miles, 7-8 hrs. Today, you will have a long drive along a rough road that first climbs over a high pass, zigzags down into a series of gorges and climbs up the other side before eventually making a long winding and very rough descent down a fantastically eroded gully where the hills on the both sides are worn into incredible shape. The side valley emerges into the wider Sutlez Valley and after crossing a bridge, the road finally reaches the oasis like town of Zanda.
Day 13: Excursions of the ruins Tsaparang and Tholing of Guge kingdom. Overnight at Budget Guest House.
Today, you will explore the ruins of Tholing and Tsaparang monasteries. Tsaparang lies 21 km further down the Sutlez River to the west.
Day 14: Drive to Mansarovar. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 15: Drive Manasarover - to Saga (4500m). Overnight at Guest House.
Our tour starts back following the same route and same system applies for all subjects of our accommodation and meal. Overnight at guest house.
Day 16: Saga to Xigatse, (3900m) around 7 hours drive, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 17: Xigatse – Gyantse – Lhasa: Overnight at Hotel.
In Xigatse, we visit Tashilumpo Monastery, one of the four great Gelug monasteries renowned as the seat of the Panchen Lama until his death in 1989. After visiting Tashilunpo Monastery in the morning including the Bazaar of Xigatse, We drive to the capital of the small kingdom in 15th century. Gyantse. Visit Gyantse Kumbum (the highest Chorten in Tibet) & Pelkor Chode Monastery founded in 1418 after that we will continue drive to Lhasa. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 18: Lhasa Sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel.
Visit: Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery and Norbulinka.
Day 19: Lhasa Sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel.
Visit: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor street.
Day 20: Departure to international airport.

We don't charge extra for the parikrama. If you wish to take help of a yak or horse, the cost will be approx USD 200 for horse payable directly to the yak man. All pilgrims are advised to hire one. You have to understand that the yaks are not domesticated but are meant to carry luggage.
