Round Annapurna Trekking has been spreads around Kaski, Mustang, Manang and Lamjung districts of Central Nepal. Beginning from 790 meters, the highest point of the conservation areas is Mount Annapurna (8091 meters). Village like Ghandruk and Ghorepani provides fantastic panoramic view of the Annapurna ranges. Equally eye catching are hills of rhododendron that blossom every spring. The turning point of the Round Annapurna Trekking Circuit is Jomsom. The vegetation in this Annapurna Trekking region includes various species of orchids and rhododendron. There are around 100 different kinds of mammals including rare snow leopards and blue sheep in this Annapurna Trekking Circuit. There are around 478 species of birds, 39 species of reptiles and 22 species of amphibians. The best gateway to Annapurna Trekking or Annapurna Region is Pokhara in Kaski district and Besisahar of Lamjung district.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu.
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, pickup from airport and tranfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing.
Kathmandu Full Day sightseeing, Visit: Pashupati Nath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Boudha Nath Stupa.
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu- Besi Sahar (823m).
After having Breakfast get ready to drive to Besi Sahar on the way visit Manakamana devi temple by cable car. Dinner and overnight in Guest House.
Day 04: Trekking Besi Sahar - Bahundanda (1311m).
Trekking starts through flat and terraced rice field, slowly gain and have elevation, and have good views of Baudha (6672 m.) and Himal Chuli (7893 m.) When the trail narrows and the valley becomes a deep river gorge. We cross a long hanging suspension bridge and enter the large trading village of Khudi. The trail continues northwards up the valley, crossing several suspension bridges and passing several beautiful waterfalls. Have a close view of Lamjung (8986 m.) The village Bahun Danda supports the last shops of any size before Jomsom.
Day 05: Trekking Bahundanda - Chamje (1390m).
We descend to the Marsyangdi to access the river level before deciding our route. If the water is low we cross on a makeshift bridge to the east bank, if not then we continue on the west bank climbing high over a ridge, to a rejoin the east bank trail over suspension bridge at Sange. We then climb high again, through rhododendron and pine forest. The valley is now a very deep and steep gorge.
Day 06: Trekking Chamje - Bagarchap (2103m).
We climb steadily all Day to Tal, a small village at the foot of a large waterfall. We are now entering the Manang district. After leaving Tal we cross a large bridge to the village of Dharapani (1860 ft.) where our trekking permits are checked and we enjoy a cup of tea. We then climb through forests to Bagarchhap, the first village on the trek with Typical Tibetan architecture. (Appx - 6 hours).
Day 07: Trekking Bagarchap - Chame (2615m).
The trail follows west. Manasalu forming a splendid backdrop and Annapurna II (7937 m.) appearing occasionally to the south. We continue through fine forest of pine and fir, resting at the hamlets of Charku, Thangje and Kaparkodo. As we continue on to Chame, views of the Annapurna improve dramatically. (Appx. - 6 hours).
Day 08: Trekking Chame - Pisang (3133m).
We continually cross the river all Day, passing through the narrow and steep gorge. nearing the village of Pisang we top a ridge to get our first views of the Manang Valley, a wide u shaped valley hanging between two lines of snow peaks (Appx. - 6 hours).
Day 09: Trekking Pisang- Manang (3500m).
Descending to the forested valley we follow the trail through the flat valley, passing a small STOL airstrip, cross the river once again to Braga. This is a village of over 200 houses. (Appx. - 5 hours).We will visit Braga Monastery. The largest in the district, it has an outstanding display of statues, tangkas and manuscripts. From here it is only a short walk to Manang. (Appx. - 2 hours)
Day 10: Manang (3500m).
A necessary Day to rest and acclimatizes and explore Manang. The village, of over 1000 flat roofed houses, is picturesquely set amongst some spectacular scenery: Annapurna II, Annapurna III (7555 m.), Annapurna (7454 m.) to the Sourth; tilicho (7132 m.) and the Grand Barrier to the west Chulu West (6583 m.) and Chulu East (6059 m.) to the north. Rest and Acclimatization.
Day 11: Trekking Manang - Latdar (4176m).
Continue walk to the Marsyangdi Khola steadily climbing into quite alpine areas. Keep your eyes open for Thar and Ghoral, mountain sheep. Lunch at Chauin Kharka, after lunch walk 2 hours to Yak Kharka/Churi Lettar. Dinner and overnight at tented camp.
Day 12: Trekking Latdar - Thorung Phedi (4404m).
After breakfast at 8 AM. Walk 2 hours to the small bridge then ascending 2 and half hours and reached to Thorangla Base Camp. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Thorangla Phedi.
Day 13: Trekking Thorung Phedi - Thorung La (5416m) - Muktinath (3802m).
Through the crossing of the Thorangla pass 5415 m.) is not technically difficult but take it slowly to take into account the complication of altitude and possible snow. After about four hours we reach to the altitude (5415 m.) (absolutely stunning high Himalaya scenery). The entire Annapurna Himal to the west and the incredibility deep Kali Gandaki valley: and the peaks to Thorugtse (6482 m.) and Chulu to the north. The descent is steep and rough, but we soon have excellent views of Dhaulagiri (8167 m.) (Appx. - 7 hours).
Day 14: Trekking Muktinath - Jomsom (2713m).
After the exertions of the crossing a rest Day is in order. Muktinath is an important pilgrimage spot for both Hindu and Buddhists - Buddhist Gompa and a pagoda style temple are the main charm here. The most interesting aspect of the area is the spot where burning natural gas issues from the rock. (Rest Day).
Day 15: Trekking Jomsom - Kalopani (2530m).
Day 16: Trekking Kalopani - Tatopani (1190m).
Day 17: Trekking Tatopani - Ghorepani (2819m).
Day 18: Trekking Ghorepani - Tadapani - Ghandrung (2012m).
Day 19: Trekking Ghandrung - Nayapul drive to Pokhara.
Day 21: Pokhara- Kathmandu.
Day 22: Departure
