The famous, remote and challenging Hidden Valley trek circles Dhaulagiri, the seventh Highest Mountain in the world. Dhaulagiri the magnificent mountain which rises as a giant shoulder of ice and snow means "white Mountain" towering in solitary splendor. The famous French pass in this trekking route got its name from a French climber and expedition photographer. This trek is rarely visited; the valley and the villages surrounding it are still unspoiled and unchanged. The challenges of the traverse of French pass, the heart of the massif of Dhaulagiri base camp, and the Dhampus pass are the high points of this trek which keep on attracting a significant number of trekkers each year.
