Mt Kailash:
Mount Kailash
lies in the southwestern part of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
At 6,714 m (22,027 ft), Mount Kailas is the highest peak in the Kailas
Range of the Himalayas . Mount Kailas is separated from the Great Himalayas
chain by a trough that is drained in the northwest by the Sutlej River
and in the southeast by the Yarlung Zangbo River (the extreme upper Brahmaputra
River ). Mapam Lake , lying just south of Mount Kailash at 4,557 m (14,950
ft), is one of the world's highest lakes.
Mount
Kailas , which has religious significance for both Hindus and Tibetan
Buddhists, is an important pilgrimage site. For Hindus, the peak is the
home of the god Shiva, while Tibetan Buddhists equate the mountain with
Mount Sumeru , the cosmic center of the universe
Lake Mansarovar:
The great
lake Mansarover is situated in the south-west corner of Tibet and in
the north-west of Nepal . It beyond high Himalayas which borders Nepal
and China . Tibetan plateau in itself is unique in its geographic make
up with its fauna and flora and mythical setup of ecosystem. The lake
is 20 kms from Mt.Kailash and is one of the most beautiful and sacred
lake in Asia . It can be circumambulated in four or five days. It is often
a gem like cobalt blue color but during storm, it can turn into a churning
black sometimes.
According
to Hindu and Buddisht epics, the four great rivers of the Indian sub-continent,
the Indus , Ganga , Sutlej and Brahamaputra actually arise from Mansarover.
In reality, only the Sutlej originates from the lake. Mansarover has been
circumambulated by the Indian pilgrims at least since being extolled in
the sacred Sanskrit literature called the Puranas around 1700 years ago.
Legends has that the mother of Buddha, Mayadevi was bathe at Mansarovar
by Gods before giving birth to her son
Lhasa City:
This tour offers fun-filled adventurous

blissful days are packaged in your trip for exploring the charismatic
wonders of Lhasa. Lhasa, most popularly known as ‘Sunlight City’,
is regarded as the heart and soul of Tibet and hence is the number one
tourist destination in Tibet. Visits to white and ochre fortress of Potala
Palace and Jokhang temple can be quite spiritually rejuvenating experience.
Potala Palace is a UNESCO world heritage and features an overwhelming
array of intricate murals, temples, stupas, tombs of eight past Dalai
Lamas, exquisite Tibetan Mandalas and other relics of Tibetan history.
Jokhang temple lying 2 km to the east is another Tibetan religious site.

Day 01 : Drive from Kathmandu to Nyalam (3700m)
After breakfast depart from Kathmandu to China border by tourist coach.
It takes about 05 hours. Our agent will complete our custom formalities
and check into Tibet, an autonomous part of China. After lunch drive to
a small Tibetan town called Nyalam by Land Cruiser. Overnight stay at
Nyalam Guest House. Breakfast and dinner in camp side and packed lunch
will be provided. (B, L, D)
Day 02: Acclimatization
Day at Nyalam (3700m)
Nyalam Full day acclimatization - Full day free for excursion of Nyalam
city. Overnight at Nyalam guest house. (B, L, D)
Day 03: Drive from Nyalam
to Saga (4500m)
After breakfast drive from Nyalam to Saga for about 07:00 hours which
is 220 km. Overnight stay at Saga in tent or Hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 04: Drive from Saga
to Paryang (4450 m)
After breakfast proceed to Paryang for about 06:30 hours which is 195
Km distance. Overnight at Paryang in tent or Guest House. (B, L, D)
Day 05: Drive from Paryang
to Mansarovar (Hor 4500m)
After breakfast leave for Mansarover in a distance of 225 Km which takes
about 08:00 hours. This is the first day stay at the bank of the Manasarovar
Lake. Overnight stay in tent or guest house. (B, L, D)
Day 06: Explore Mansarovar
Drive to Chho-kue Gompa- Mansarovar Parikrama by Land Cruiser. Drive around
2.30 hrs to Darchen and overnight stay there in hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 07: Excursion around Darchen (4560m)
After breakfast drive around for an hour to Darchen, which is the base
camp of Mt Kailash. Full day is free for acclimatization. Visit Serlung
Gompo (5200mt) & Astapath, Nandi Parbat. Overnight stay in guest house
at Darchen. (B, L, D)
Day 08: Darchen to Diraphuk (4890 m)
This is the first day of Kailash circumbulation (Parikrama). We should
start our journey after breakfast as early as possible. This day we have
to walk continuously for about 6 to 7 hours. Yak will carry our all goods
and equipment. Overnight stay at Diraphuk in tent or guest house. (B,

Day 09: Diraphuk to Zuthulphuk
(4790m)
The day is very sensitive and we have to pass Dolma-La Pass, which is
5400 mt. above sea level. The weather is unpredictable in Dolma-la Pass
and at any time snowstorm can fall. So we try to start our journey as
early as possible. In route we can have Darshan of Gaurikunda but it is
very difficult to go and touch. Overnight stay in route to Zhuthulphuk
in tent or guest house. (B, L, D)
Day 10: Zhuthulphuk to Mansarover / Hore
This is the day we finish our Parikarma and go back to base camp in Darchen.

Day 11: Mansarover / Hore
to Paryang
Our tour starts back following the same route and same system applies
for all subjects of our accommodation and meal. Overnight at guest house.
Day 12: Paryang to Saga
Drive back to Saga. Overnight at Saga. (B, L, D)
Day13: Saga - Sangsang
(4300m), Overnight at Sangsang. (B)
Day14: Sangsang – Xigatse, (3900m), Overnight at Xigatse.

Day 15 XIGATSE –
GYANTSE: Overnight Gyantse.
In Xigatse, we visit Tashilumpo Monastery, one of the four great Gelug
monasteries renowned as the seat of the Panchen Lama until his death in
1989. After visiting Tashilunpo Monastery in the morning including the
Bazaar of Xigatse, We drive to the capital of the small kingdom in 15th
century. Gyantse. Visit Gyantse Kumbum (the highest Chorten in Tibet)
& Pelkor Chode Monastery founded in 1418. Overnight at Gyantse. (B)
Day 16 GYANTSE – LHASA: Overnight at Lhasa.
Drive to Lhasa, crossing the Karo-la Pass(5045m), we pass by the Yamdrok
Tso, the turquoise lake & one of the four holy lakes in Tibet. Then
after passing the Kamba-la Pass(4794m), we find ourselves close to theLhasa
Valley. After crossing the Brahmaputra River, we reach Lhasa, our final
destination. Lhasa lies in the Kyichu river valley at 3,595m and is dominated
by the magnificent Potala Palace, built in the 17th century by the Great
Fifth Dalai Lama. The accompanied guide will reconfirm your onward airline

Day 17 & 18 LHASA sightseeing:
Overnight at Lhasa.
These days you will be engrossed with sightseeing and excursion of the
Potala Palace (A great museum with its proportions and priceless treasures)
Jokhang Temple (the holiest of Tibetan shrines, houses two images of the
Buddha brought as dowry by Songtsen Gampo's Nepali and Chinese queens)
along the bustling street of Barkhor Market. In Lhasa you will also visit
Norbu Lingka (the summer palace of the Dalai Lamas), Drepung and Sera
Monasteries. Overnight at Lhasa. (B)
Day 19 LHASA – Departure
Transfer Gongkar airport for the onward flight to Kathmandu. (B)
Note:
Clients should be in Kathmandu before 2 Days of final departure with 6-month
valid passport. All the passport details should be send to us with in
30 Days before the date of Departure.

The cost of the trip depends up on the type of Landcruiser use for transportation
& sightseeing / type of accommodation use in Lhasa.

such as road blockade, landslide, snow, political unrest cancellation
of flight, delay arrival, sickness or accident. Any extra cost incurring
there of shall be borne by the clients. Since Tibet is very remote place
and road are very rough sometime good vehicle may break.
