Nepal is rich
in wild life.The tropical jungles of the Terai preservesome of the best
wildlife habitat in Asia . Out of the total geographical area of Nepal
16% is occupied by national parks, wildlife reserves and conservation
areas. Jungle safari on elephant back is one of the thrilling experiences.
Parsa Wildlife Reserve, Royal Bardia National Park , Royal Chitwan National
Park and the Royal Shukla Phanta wildlife reserve, offer jungle safari
on elephant back or jeep rides. The Terai region can get rather hot during
summer months and temperate during winters. It is recommended that visitors
carry cool clothes, good walking shoes, shady hat and sunscreen during
the summer. The rainy season brings mosquitos and leeches in the jungles.
Mosquito repellant, anti-diarrhea tablets and anti-histamines can be handy
during the summer and rainy months.

Breakfast at hotel in Kathmandu,drive to Chitwan National Park,
At 12:00 A.M reach to Chitwan National park,transfer to resort and
a short Briefing.
At 1:00 P.M Lunch
At 3:00 P.M Elephant Safari/Jungle Walk and a Boat ride.
At 7:00 P.M Cultural Dance Show.
At 8:00 P.M Dinner. |
Day 02:

At 5:30 A.M WakeUp
Call.
At 6:00 A.M Tea/Coffee followed by nature walk for bird watching.
At 7:30 A.M Breakfast.
At 8:30 A.M Crocodile Walk. A 45 minute walk through grassland and
forest upstream of the Narayani River. Board boats to observe crocodiles
along the banks while floating back to the camp
At 1:00 P.M Lunch.
At 3:00 P.M Visit to a National Park.
At 4:00 P.M Visit to a village of Tharu by walk or on OX Cart.
At 7:00 P.M Slide presentation about the flora and fauna of the
National Park.
At 8:00 P.M Dinner. |
