| The
Mount Everest or the Solu Khumbu region is the second most popular trekking
area in Nepal . It would probably the most popular destination to the
people all around the world. This region is justifiably famous, not only
for its proximity to the world's highest mountain (8848m) but also for
its Sherpa people, picturesque villages great variety of cultures and
traditions, colorful festivals and monasteries. The flora and founa are
other ornaments of the Sagarmatha National Park . The story of the yeti
is still a mystery to the world from the Khumbu region. The main highlight
of the trekking that we offer is the visit to the Everest Base Camp at
an elevetion of 5340m. An Everest trek involves a tremendous amount of
up and down walking. All the rivers inthis part of Nepal flow south from
Himalayan glaciers, but the trek route proceeds east. Therefore the trail
must climb to the ridge that separates two rivets, descend to the river
itself and ascend the next ridge. Most of our trips start with a scenic
flight landing you at the airstrip of Lukla 2850m from where you begin
yourwalking to the sherpa villages and ends up with the another scenic
flight back to Kathmandu offering that view at a lifetime.
