ROUND DHAULAGIRI
TREKKING:
The
famous, remote and challenging Hidden Valley trek circles Dhaulagiri,
the seventh Highest Mountain in the world. Dhaulagiri the magnificent
mountain which rises as a giant shoulder of ice and snow means "white
Mountain" towering in solitary splendor. The famous French pass in
this trekking route got its name from a French climber and expedition
photographer. This trek is rarely visited; the valley and the villages
surrounding it are still unspoiled and unchanged. The challenges of the
traverse of French pass, the heart of the massif of Dhaulagiri base camp,
and the Dhampus pass are the high points of this trek which keep on attracting
a significant number of trekkers each year.

Trek in Brief:
This trek is difficult and adventurous in the western part of Nepal. The
different permit other then Annapurna region should be obtained for Round
Dhaulagiri. This trek starts from Beni on the bank of Kali Gandaki; follow
the Myagdi Khola westward to Darbang. Much of the route is on snow and
glacier as it crosses French Col (5240m), traverses the head of hidden
valley and crosses Dhampus pass (5155m). The trek ends with a steep descent
to Marpha and return to Pokhara, along the Kali Gandaki Ghorepani ridge.

MANASLU ( LARKYA PASS):
Manasalu the 8th highest mountain
in the world was first climbed by the Japanese expedition group in 1956.The
trekking around beautiful Manasalu region which started in 1991 offers
you a very unique opportunity to experience relatively "untouched"
region of Nepal and provides spectacular beauty along the border of Nepal
and China allowing organized trekking groups special permits to venture
round its spectacular circuit. The treks starts from the historic city
of Gorkha and goes along Budhi Gandaki, through Nupri region largely in
habitant by descendants of Tibetan migrants.

for all. The Tibetan style Gompas are seen on the way. .

UPPER
MUSTANG TREKKING:
Shrouded in mystery and unparalleled
in natural and cultural beauty the most, aweinspiring of Nepal's 75 districts
is the district of Mustang. The area is part of the tibetan plateau, and
is high, dry and beautiful. It lies to the north west of the Kali Gandaki,
beyond Kagbeni, which is as far west as you can go on the jomsom trek.
It is only possible to enter Mustang with an organised group and permits.
As it is divided into two parts, upper mustang falls under the rain shadow,
virtually untouched by the summer monsoon rains so characteristic of South
Asia.
